March is Women’s Month, and to give importance to the roles of women in the society, a simple program was held on March 23, Thursday, at the school quadrangle, with Dr. Mario Madriaga, GAD School Focal Person, who initiated this event. This program was attended by the homeroom presidents, SPTA officers and teachers headed by the Principal, Mrs. Marites Coballes. Barangay Councilor Amelynne Laguinlin, BCPC and VAWC Chair, served as the guest speaker of the celebration, while Miss Sam Bernal, daughter of Barangay Councilor Sheila Bernal, shared her thoughts on women’s worth in the society. Teachers and Parents had a good time playing the games prepared by Grade 6 teachers. Mrs. Emily Mamhot, Grade 5 TLE teacher, demonstrated the making of Dishwashing liquid, while Mrs. Rowena Gueta, a Grade 2 teacher, shared her skills in making liquid hand soap. SilvES GSP conducts 2023 Investiture

37 Twinklers, 158 Star and 132 Girl Scouts of Silverio were invested by the invited Investing Officer and guest speaker, Dr. Vilma Forbes, Institutional Head of San Agustin Elementary School, last Friday, March 24 at the school”s covered court. Mrs. Marites Coballes, the School Head, welcomed the scouts and the guest on her opening message. She also talked about the significance of scouting to everyone. Dr. Vilma Forbes in her speech, praised and congratulated the scouts with their enthusiasm to join girl scouting. She told the scouts not to forget the scout’s promises and laws. This year’s GSP theme is “One World, One Peaceful Future: the Environment, Peace and Security.” XxxxxxxxxX Learners undergo MTAP training Some Grade 1 to 6 learners have undergone training on numeracy skills with their MTAP teachers every Saturday.
