The one- week online classes were conducted in a virtual and modular system for three days, Monday to Wednesday due to transport strike and water interruptions that the Deped- Paranaque believed would cause inconvenience among the teachers and learners. Silverians join NSED
The First Quarterly National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) was observed in our school last Thursday, March 9 with unannounced no evacuation, headed by Mrs. Cristy Dela Cruz, School DRRM Coordinator and the teachers from first to third shift classes. The children did the duck, cover and hold upon the ringing of the bell that signalled the earthquake is happening. Prior to this NSED, orientation was delivered and discussed so that the pupils are equipped with the importance of the activity. This drill is being done to prepare everyone for the 7.5 magnitude earthquake that is being foreseen by the experts that will suppose to happen in the future times. XxxxxxxxxxxX
Saturday Brigada Pagbasa still in Progress
Volunteers were in attendance last Friday to cater the school’s struggling readers in remedial reading, under the Brigada Pagbasa program. Beforehand this week, many generous sponsors shared their blessings by doling out food, snacks and water for both the children and facilitator. The Principal, Mrs. Marites Coballes expressed her gratitude to our supportive partners and volunteers. This Saturday Brigada Pagbasa program is being conducted to enhance the reading skills of struggling learners. /mjf03122023
