To commence the 5-day School-based Teachers’ Day Celebration, the teaching force attended a short program prepared by the Faculty Club headed by its President, Mrs. Analie Parallag, Words of God was shared by a Christian Pastor Ambi and then a short presentation was shown. There were messages of thanks to the teachers and some stuff like flowers and chocolate given by the pupils to their teachers. A friendly volleyball game was also played by the primary and intermediate group, by which won by the latter. Other games were played and with prizes at stake. There was also a free facial massage for mentors sponsored by PMS- PPMS courtesy of its former president, Dr. Laarni Moreno. The newly-elected SPTA set of officers provided food for teachers too. This opening program also gave a break for teachers to have bonding with their colleagues. Meanwhile the culminating program was set on October 5 at Cabalen in Mall of Asia. With this year’s theme, “Together4Teachers,” the Silverio mentors took time to enjoy the event wearing boho costumes. Best in costume was awarded to Miss Ellen Casquete, Kinder, Ms. Cornelio, Grade 1, Ms. Lilibeth Areglado, Grade 2, Ms. Corazon Hallig, Grade3, Ms Bilbao, Grade 4, Ms.Celeste Vergara and Mr. Mark Raven Matias, Grade 5 at Ms. Jovelyn Milaor, Grade 6. Some lucky teachers also won prizes as they drew lots. Picture -taking was everywhere in the venue. The closing program was a memorable one. The National/ World Teachers’ Month is celebrated yearly from September 5 to October 5, to acknowledge and emphasize teachers’ crucial role, loyal service and dedicated commitment to developing globally-minded citizens, nurturing families, strengthening communities and building the nation. SilvES EBs attend Comelec Training

Some volunteered teachers and non- teaching personnel who would serve as electoral board this coming Barangay and SK election attended a training sponsored by the Comelec at Mella Hotel, Las Piñas City on October 3, from 8AM to 12Noon. This training is conducted to familiarize and inform the EB of what they would do before, during and after election. XxxxxxxxxX

SilvES conducts Virtual Workshop

The teachers attended the virtual meeting on Empowering Workshop for Creating Interactive Learning Resources in LUMI Education, facilitated by the school ICT coordinator, Mrs. Rina Tardecilla, on October 6, via Google Meet, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon. City Mayor donates 2 unit of 72″ Smart TV

Additional big televisions were donated by our beloved City Mayor, Hon. Eric Olivarez on October 3. According to the School Principal, Mrs. Marites Coballes, these two televisions would be used in the kindergarten classes. XxxxxxxxxX

SilvES Planning Team attends Workshop

Thirty (30) SilvES teachers, together with the School Head, Mrs. Marites Coballes, were bound to Amadeo, Cavite on October 6 and 7 to create action plans for the improvement of learners’ performance. Sir Bernie dies at 59
