The Silverians joyfully celebrated the second founding anniversary, with the theme, ” Sulong Silverio para sa Edukasyong Matatag at Progresibo,” last Thursday, November 16, with Honorable City Mayor Eric Olivarez and San Isidro Barangay Chairman, Honorable Noel P. Japlos, in attendance. Presentations of mass dance were shown by each grade level. A special number was also presented by the Faculty Movers. In line with this, oath taking of the newly elected set of Homeroom and School Parent-Teacher Association officers, Faculty Club, journalism, yes-o, and other school organizations was administered and inducted by Mayor Olivarez as inducting officer, with the presence of Home Owners Association (HOA) chairperson, Mrs. Baby Rojas and the School Principal, Mrs. Marites Coballes. Mrs Coballes expressed her gratitude to all teachers, non- teaching personnel , parents and students who supported and participated in the celebration that made it successfully done this year. Silverians enjoy Children’s Fair
After their respective classes, on Friday, November 17, the pupils had fun in the school ‘s Children’s Fair, wherein different booths were put up in the school quadrangle by grade level teachers, in connection with the National Children’s Month. Booths of different designs offered a lot of fun for children, as they roamed around from one stand to another. The one-day fun-filled event gave children their rights to play, to enjoy, to feel that they are protected and being taking cared of in the school, their second home. XxxxxxxxxX
SilvES’ Scouting gets Stronger
Both the school’s BSP and GSP showed active participation in attending training and badge fair. The BSP Silverio headed by the Boy Scouts School Coordinator, Patrol Leader Analie Parallag, with other Patrol Leaders, Mario Madriaga, Joey Hebra and Sylvia Taway, along with the ten boy scouts, attended the PTC Patrol Leader Training at Don Bosco Elementary School for three days, from November 17 until November 19 while the GSP group had bound to Tagaytay City to attend in the Divisionwide Camp in a Troop Camp Setting set from November 17 to 19 also, with Dr. Mylene Octot, the GSP School Coordinator, together with the other Troop Leaders, Scouters Celeste Vergara, Glenda Tibar and Michelle Tel who accompanied the ten girl scouts for the training. Both the boy and girl scout participants learned and gained practical life activities that they could apply in their daily life situations. The participants were given the certificates of attendance. These trainings are being conducted to have character development, leadership development, citizenship training and personal fitness among the scouts. XxxxxxxxxX /mjf11202023
