” The youth is the hope of the nation.”

This was the saying adapted by the Verizon-Philippines Culture Team who volunteered to have Virtual Tutorial in English and Mathematics in line with this year’s Brigada Eskwela Program.

According to this generous team, ” the Brigada Eskwela Campaign aims to value and support the importance of education to our Filipino youth. It is a venue for social and people empowerment through displaying unity and active social involvement.”

As part of their BE advocacy, they will conduct a Tutorial or a free Module Assistance Program for Students (MAPS) to give help and remediation for selected intermediate pupils who encountered difficulties in comprehension and numerical skills.

Mrs. Cynthia Begino, ASP Coordinator, along with Mrs. Cristy Dela Cruz, School BE Coordinator, had met the team to discuss matters in the implementation of this BE Program Innovation.

The pilot run will start on June18, (Math) and June 25, (English), Friday afternoon, for one hour session. There will be a 1:5, for a Verizon volunteer : Student ratio. The duration of this activity will be announced soon.

The said endeavor will greatly help the Silverio pupils to gain more knowledge this BE month, that’s why, the school is very grateful to our stakeholder, the Verizon (CSR) Team. (Marcela J. Fairbanks)
